Add someone to a call
Bring a teammate, a contact or any number into a call you're on, so everyone can talk together.
Updated 27 October 2026
Adding people to a call works on the web and in the Mac app. You can't add people from the iPhone or Android app yet.
Add people
- 1During the call, press the Add someone button, the person with a plus.
- 2Tick the teammates or contacts you want, or search for them.
- 3To call a number that isn't saved, choose Dial a number, type it and press Add number.
- 4Press Add. The button shows how many people you've picked.
Each person you add is rung. Once they answer, everyone on the call can hear each other.
Manage the people on the call
Everyone on the call is listed in the call window. If you started the call, open the menu next to a person to:
- Mute them
- Put them on hold, or resume them
- Remove them from the call
- Stop ringing someone who hasn't answered yet
The call's own menu also lets you record the call or mute everyone.
When you're done, press Hang up. If someone else started the call, the button says Leave and the call carries on without you.
Questions
Can I add someone to a call with a teammate?
No. You can add people to calls with customers. Calls between teammates are one-to-one.
Can I hand the call over instead?
Yes. To pass the caller to a teammate and drop off, transfer the call. See Transfer a call.
