Set up voicemail

Let callers leave a message when nobody answers or when you're closed, and find the messages they leave.

Updated 27 October 2026

When voicemail picks up

Each number can send callers to voicemail in two cases. Turn on either or both.

CaseWhen it happens
When no one answersThe call rang and nobody picked up
Outside business hoursThe call came in while the number's business hours are closed

Outside business hours only works once the number has business hours set. Until then it never triggers.

Find your voicemails

A voicemail shows in the conversation with the caller, marked Voicemail with its length. Open it to play the message.

On a phone, you also get a notification that says Voicemail and how long the message is.
